This is because the heel strap is soft leather. I absolutely love these shoes. They make a cute chime ring from the embellishments not being fixed but free to move. The color is like a smokey gray and a small kitten heel. (squeal) These are a Dillard's brand. Did nothing to the sandal this is the way I bought them. No tags and no box.
